Frequently Asked Questions
Is Isolate dairy-free?
No. Whey isolate comes from milk. It is typically lower in lactose than standard whey, but it isn’t dairy-free. If you’re highly sensitive to lactose, consult your healthcare professional.
Is Ethica Isolate good for weight management?
It can help you reach a higher-protein intake with relatively few carbs and fat. Many people use isolate to support lean mass while managing calories.
What’s the difference between whey isolate and whey concentrate?
Isolate is further filtered for a higher protein percentage and lower lactose, carbs, and fat compared to concentrate. Many athletes prefer isolate post-workout or when they want a lighter shake.
When should I take it—only after workouts?
To maximize muscle protein synthesis, it is recommended to take 30 to 40grams before working out (preferably with carbs; ~30min before workout) and after workout (right after preferably).
Can I cook or bake with Ethica Isolate?
Yes—stir into oats, yogurt, or batter. Heat can slightly change texture, so start with smaller amounts to dial in your recipes.
Does it mix well with water?
Yes. Isolate is designed for smooth mixability in water or milk. Start with 200–300 ml and adjust to taste.
Allergens & facility info?
Contains milk. Manufactured in the USA in a cGMP-certified facility. See label for full allergen statements and cross-contact disclosures.
How much caffeine is in a serving?
200 mg per scoop. Start with ½ scoop to assess tolerance and avoid other caffeine sources close to use.
Can I use it for work or study?
Yes—many people like ½ scoop for deep-work blocks. Remember it’s a stimulant; use earlier in the day if you’re sensitive.
What does the Focus Matrix do?
Focus Matrix is a targeted blend of nootropic ingredients added to the pre-workout to support attention, motivation, and mind–muscle connection.
NALT, choline, DMAE, L-theanine, and bacopa are included to support attention, motivation, and the mind-muscle connection while caffeine provides the primary stimulation.
Is it suitable for evening training?
If you’re sensitive to caffeine or train late, consider ½ scoop and avoid within 6–8 hours of bedtime.
Does it break a fast?
Fast in a resistance training context is defined as insulin being at baseline level, and ~1g of carbohydrates and active ingredients won’t break the fast.
Will I crash?
Formulated to feel smooth (caffeine balanced with L-theanine), but individual responses vary with sleep, nutrition, and total daily caffeine.
Can I stack this with Recovery and Isolate?
Yes: Energy + Focus (pre) → Recovery (intra/post) → Isolate (post or daily) is our simple stack.
Allergens & testing?
Refer to the product label for full allergen statements and sport-specific compliance. Manufactured in the USA in a cGMP-certified facility.
Is Recovery stimulant-free?
Yes. No caffeine or stimulants—just electrolytes, carbs, and flavor.
Why are there carbs and sugar?
Carbohydrates (including a small amount of sugar) can improve palatability and support fluid absorption during or after sweat-heavy sessions.
When should I use it—during or after?
Both work. Sip during training to help stay ahead of dehydration, and/or drink a serving after to replenish.
Can I combine Recovery with Ethica Energy or Isolate?
Absolutely. Use Energy pre-workout, Recovery during or after, and Isolate post-workout or anytime you need protein..
How much water should I mix it with?
Start with 400–600 ml per scoop. Add more water for a lighter flavor, or less for stronger taste. In hot conditions, aim for steady sipping.
Is Recovery suitable for keto or very low-carb diets?
As formulated, Recovery provides 24 g carbs per serving, so it may not fit strict ketogenic plans. Consider using a half-scoop if you’re minimizing carbs.
What about cramping?
Electrolytes help maintain normal muscle and nerve function. Because cramping has many causes, individual results vary.
